under the supervision of a New York State Department of
Insurance Approved Monitor and without any assistance
or reference material.
GlobalED has its own Preferred
Monitor Directory with 100+ Monitors statewide
for student use.
Any attempt to access a
Monitored Final
Examination for this course when a NYS Insurance
Department Monitor is not present is considered a
serious breach of examination security. The
candidate will not be permitted to take the Monitored
Final Examination and the Department of Insurance must
immediately be notified of any such breach.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: You may access this course from
any computer with an internet connection, a monitor,
keyboard, mouse and printer. No other special equipment
is required.
ATTENTION MAC USERS: There
is a glitch in the SAFARI
BROWSER that is not compatible with our Online
Courses.
Microsoft is no longer supporting their Internet
Explorer browser for MAC though all their versions work
well with our system. For that reason we will not direct
MAC users to a Microsoft download site.
